The 36th Alzheimer Europe Conference will take place at The Convention Centre Dublin from 27–29 October 2026, bringing together people living with dementia, family carers, researchers, healthcare professionals, policymakers and other stakeholders from across Europe.

This year’s conference is themed “Sláinte: Building momentum in dementia through policy, research and partnership”, reflecting a programme focused on sharing knowledge, encouraging collaboration and exploring developments in dementia care, research and policy. More than 1,200 delegates are expected to attend, including strong representation from Ireland.

Sessions will explore a broad range of subjects, including dementia strategies, advocacy, diagnosis and treatment, artificial intelligence, brain health, prevention, care approaches and the experiences of people living with dementia. The programme also provides opportunities to exchange research findings and discuss practical approaches to improving dementia support and services.

Alongside the conference programme, attendees can participate in networking opportunities and visit the exhibition. A Networking Dinner and Anti-Stigma Award Ceremony is also scheduled for 28 October.

With its international focus and diverse programme, Alzheimer Europe Conference 2026 provides an important forum for discussion and knowledge-sharing across the European dementia community.
