The HSE Public & Patient Partnership Conference 2026 takes place at Croke Park, Dublin, on 15 October 2026, bringing together patients, service users, healthcare professionals, researchers, advocates and policymakers to explore how partnership can help shape health and social care services.

The fourth national conference has the theme “From Islands of Partnership to System-Wide Practice and Policy”, focusing on how successful examples of patient and public involvement can become embedded across healthcare organisations, systems and policy.

The programme will provide opportunities to hear from speakers, explore practical examples and share experiences of partnership in action. Topics include co-design, patient and public involvement, lived and living experience, service improvement and policy development, with contributions from people working across Ireland’s health and social care system.

Attendees can also take part in panel discussions, presentations, networking and a poster exhibition, creating opportunities to exchange ideas and learn from different approaches to partnership.

Taking place at Croke Park, the conference provides a national forum for discussion, collaboration and knowledge-sharing around the role of patients and the public in shaping healthcare.
