The Big Grill Festival 2025 is set to return to Herbert Park, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4, from Thursday, August 14 to Sunday, August 17, 2025. This annual event is Europe's largest BBQ and food festival, celebrating live-fire cooking with a diverse lineup of chefs, restaurants, and food vendors .

 What to Expect

  • Live Fire Cooking: Experience unique dishes prepared by top chefs from Ireland and around the world, all cooked over live fire.
  • Bastecamp Stage: Participate in cooking demonstrations and workshops covering grilling, smoking, marinating, and butchering techniques.
  • Food & Drink: Enjoy a variety of BBQ dishes, craft beers, cocktails, and other refreshments.
  • Entertainment: Live music, DJs, and other activities to keep the atmosphere lively.
  • Little Grillers Area: A dedicated space for children under 12, open on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

  • General Admission: Prices range from €25 to €40, depending on the session.
  • Whole Hog Tickets: Allow access to all sessions across all days.

Herbert Park is easily accessible via public transport:

  • DART: Nearest stations are Lansdowne Road and Sandymount.
  • Bus: Routes 7, 39a, 46a, and 145 serve the area.
  • Luas: The Ranelagh stop is a short walk away.

Limited parking is available, so public transport is recommended.

  • Bah33º: Offers authentic Gaucho BBQ from Brazil, featuring slow-roasted beef ribs and dry-aged picanha.
