National Aquatic Centre

If you would like to spend a day out in the swimming pool with your family the National Aquatic Centre would be the place to go. It offers several water slides, pools and other activities.

The Aquatic Centre is separated into 3 main parts:

Aqua Zone:

Aqua Zone is one of the most innovative water parks in Europe. A whole host of exciting features ensures that there is lots of family fun, thrills – and something for everyone, including….

The Master Blaster:

The Master Blaster is second to no other water attraction. The award winning technology blasts riders uphill and gravity does the rest, with hair-raising drops and thrilling banked curves it delivers a rollercoaster style ride that is a proven hair raiser

Flumes:

Aquazone has 2 flumes,  Dark Hole Ride - A dark flume ride (not for the faint hearted) and Green Giant Ride- A mid speed flume ride suitable for all ages They offer a smooth, seamless ride with twists and turns in a river of bends to shoot you out into the splash down pool.

The Flow Rider:

Flow Rider offers the fun and excitement of surfing, skateboarding and snowboarding in one truly interactive ride. The FlowRider is ideal for family participants of all ages.

The Wave Pool:

The waves start in the deep end of the pool and gradually wash up on the centre shoreline, just like the ocean. For your safety, the waves stop periodically to let you take a break.

The Lazy River:

Guests leisurely float around our Wave Pool at two miles an hour. This relaxing trip takes about 10 minutes, a relaxing 120 metre ride.

The Pirate Ship:

It is the heaven for kids full of safe and fun rides, complete with pirate ship, cannons and small slides. For use by children aged 8 and under and should be directly supervised by their accompanying adult.

If you go with your family this will be the place where you will spend most of the time and prices vary from 3,80 Euro upwards, depending on the ride.


International Competition Pools:

With a standard 50m x 25m swimming pool and a standard 25m x 16.5m diving pool. It offers seating for 2,500 spectators.

Prices vary depending on the day and time but are approx. €7.50 for Adults and €5.50 for Children


ToneZone / Gymnasium:

A top class Health club and gymnasium which features all the latest cardio-vascular and resistance equipment, fitness studio and a dedicated Spinning room. It also incorporates sauna, steam room and spa relaxation.
