Kesha is an American singer-songwriter who rose to fame in 2009 with her feature on Flo Rida's chart-topping single "Right Round." She gained widespread recognition with her debut single "Tik Tok," which became one of the best-selling digital singles in history.
Kesha's music blends electropop, dance-pop, and pop rock, often characterized by her distinctive vocal style and catchy hooks. She has released several successful albums, including Animal (2010), Warrior (2012), Rainbow (2017), High Road (2020) and Gag Order (2023). Her upcoming sixth studio album, titled. (Period), is set to be released on July 4, 2025, marking her first project as an independent artist under her own label, Kesha Records.
Kesha's career faced challenges due to a legal dispute with her former producer Dr. Luke, beginning in 2014, where she accused him of abuse. The case was settled out of court in June 2023. Following the settlement, Kesha fulfilled her contract with Kemosabe Records and embarked on her journey as an independent artist.
In addition to her music, Kesha is launching a new social app called Smash, designed to foster collaboration among artists and promote creative freedom in the music industry. Kesha is also embarking on The Tits Out Tour in 2025, a co-headlining tour with the Scissor Sisters, promoting her upcoming album.
