Yungblud is an English singer‑songwriter and actor known for his energetic, genre-blending music that blends alternative rock, pop‑punk, hip hop, and indie elements

He debuted with the EP Yungblud (2018), followed by his first studio album 21st Century Liability later that year. His second studio album, Weird! (2020), topped the UK charts. In 2022, he released another self-titled album, which also reached No.1 in the UK .

His fourth album Idols is out 20 June 2025. It's the first half of a double album, a “rock-opera” recorded in Leeds aiming to explore identity, masculinity, and self‑reclamation, featuring pre-released singles like “Hello Heaven, Hello,” “Lovesick Lullaby,” and “Zombie”. “Zombie,” a pop‑rock ballad about overcoming feelings of ugliness and isolation, has a music video starring Florence Pugh.

Yungblud has been vocal on social justice issues: he supported March For Our Lives (2018), Black Lives Matter (2020), and protested Iran’s regime following Mahsa Amini’s death. He also opposed Texas’s abortion law in 2021 .

He founded Bludfest, an affordable, inclusive festival launched in Milton Keynes aiming to shake up expensive festival norms. Alongside music, the event includes safe spaces for fans and encourages community building.
